I ordered this coffee for someone who I knew really liked the coffee as a gift. I accidentally signed up for the subscription not knowing that you were locked in for three months, which isn’t clear on their site. I immediately called them, and I worked with them to get it canceled so that I could place an order for just one month. everything was good until I got charged again for it the following month. When I called them to try to get a refund for the subscription that they told me they canceled, they told me since the coffee had already gotten delivered to my gift recipient that they couldn’t do anything unless I shipped the coffee back. It put me in an awkward position because it was a gift that I sent to someone so I didn’t wanna have to ask them to ship it back. I know it was a bad situation for both parties but when I reached out about fixing it, they made it seem like it was my fault, and they were pretty snarky in their email responses to me and it wasn’t handled professionally. I ended up appealing with my credit card, and I got a full refund. The take away message being make sure you know that you’re locked in for a three month subscription and when they cancel it, just confirm that a month after by checking your credit card statement.
